Copperline Electric, a commercial and hospitality electrical contracting leader, seeks experienced Project Managers to drive the success of our diverse projects throughout Florida. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of assigned commercial and hospitality electrical projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal project teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and project alignment.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation and change order management.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent delays and ensure project success.
  • Uphold Copperline Electric’s high standards for quality and safety on all projects.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment for project staff.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or hospitality electrical construction.
  • OSHA 30 certified or must complete certification within a designated time frame (at the company’s expense).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction principles, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite on a full-time basis at our corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL, and travel up to 50% of the time to your assigned project(s).

General Superintendent

Copperline Electric is seeking a highly skilled General Superintendent to oversee our commercial and hospitality electrical projects across Florida. As an experienced leader in the construction industry, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and safe execution of our projects, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor field personnel, including foremen, electricians, and apprentices.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective project schedules and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or hospitality electrical construction, with a proven track record as a Superintendent.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Certified or trained in OSHA30, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, and Equipment Operation, or must complete certification within a designated time frame (at the company’s expense).

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely task completion.
  • Lead and manage field personnel, including electricians and apprentices.
  • Enforce Copperline Electric’s safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to track progress, manage resources, and address challenges.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and change orders.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial or hospitality electrical construction.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Certified or trained in OSHA30, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, and Equipment Operation, or must complete certification within a designated time frame (at the company’s expense).
