SHELL POINT ISLAND COMMONS

Shell Point Island Commons marks the second major project to begin construction under Phase I of the community’s master plan. Located on 7.23 acres along the Caloosahatchee River, this four-story, 152,000 SF development serves as the new Town Center for The Island neighborhood. This project features a community store and market, The Crystal restaurant, fitness facilities, and additional lifestyle amenities designed to foster connection and convenience.

Additionally, the facility will house Shell Point’s administration and resident amenities while functioning as a hurricane shelter for Independent Living residents. Following the severe impacts of Hurricane Ian, which caused Category 3 water damage to existing facilities, the new building has been engineered to withstand 200 mph winds.
